We work with farmers in the Southern Appalachian region to cultivate economic opportunities in the food and farm space. This includes supporting and developing initiatives in value-added production and processing, the cultivation of new crops and markets, and the introduction of new technologies and innovations through entrepreneurial support programming.
We also serve as an entry point to the AgLaunch Farmer Network.
AgLaunch Farmer Network
We bring together farmers, entrepreneurs and investors to commercialize new technologies and innovations in the food and farm space. By placing farmers at the center of innovation in its earliest stages, we ensure a greater chance of market success, early adoption, and urban and rural economic benefits. The Farmer Network is a coalition of innovative farmers across 10 states who are paired with agtech startups through AgLaunch’s nationally renowned accelerator program. After an introductory period of engagement in the Farmer Network, farmers may have an opportunity to join the AgLaunch Farmers, LLC where they can share in equity ownership of new technologies in exchange for farm-trial participation and other engagement opportunities.
